SERVICE TECHNICIAN/ HVAC
Innovent, a leading mfr of comm’l air handling equip specializing in energy recovery seeks a Service Technician knowledgeable in Commercial HVAC. Troubleshoot and field repair Innovent custom air handlers throughout North America. Perform Start-up as needed, educate users and field service personnel about proper maintenance and service practices. Check, test, and start-up of units at Innovent's manufacturing facility when not traveling. Effectively communicate knowledge of HVAC equipment and components, refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and DDC controls as well as perform job duties related to these systems. Must be able to pipe and charge DX systems and perform basic wiring as needed. Responsible for work processing and spreadsheets as it relates to service reports, and documentation of procedures. Ability to build positive, working relationships with building owners (customers), contractors, engineers and the Sales rep network. Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school. 3-5 years of progressively more responsible work experience is required. 50-80% travel.
